Educational Administration (M.A. and Post Master's Certificates)
Educational administrators ensure that schools run smoothly and effectively for our students.
Steeped in a long tradition of promoting public education, Kean offers three master's degrees and five certificates in educational administration. Our programs prepare visionary school leaders to respond to shifts in the educational landscape while maintaining an accessible, personable environment.
Kean's curriculum strikes a balance between theory and practice that gives valuable training to aspiring principals, supervisors, school business administrators and staff. You will study public administration, school law and policy, among many other topics of interest on campus or online. Depending on the degree track, you will need to complete fieldwork, a residency, create an action research project/portfolio or pass state exams to graduate.
