Department of Theatre Alumni
Resources for Kean Theatre Alumni.
Welcome Alumni!
Whether you were a major, a minor, or were simply involved in our productions, we hope you think of your time at Kean fondly. Theatre at Kean has been entertaining the local campus and regional community since the 1930s. Our production season, programs, and partnerships continue to delight audiences and train some of New Jersey’s finest artists. The Department's current production season model typically consists of 4 mainstage productions between the Zella Fry and the Wilkins Theatre, Musical Theatre Workshop in the Enlow Concert Hall, Theatre Council’s second stage production and cabarets, and the Director's Workshop one-acts.
Please update us on your activities since graduation by filling out the alumni survey below.

The Bauer Boucher Playwriting Awards, established in 2014 by Premiere Stages supporters W. John Bauer and Nancy Boucher, recognize the work of one Kean student and one Kean alumnus each year. The Bauer Boucher Awards support Kean University writers with enhanced visibility, dramaturgical feedback, a cash award, and the opportunity to hear their plays read out loud by an ensemble of professional actors.
Consider donating to support our programs, help maintain our spaces and equipment, contribute to our student scholarship funds or create a new scholarship to sponsor current theatre students. Click the button to make a Department of Theatre designated donation through the Kean University Foundation. Aren’t able to contribute financially? Consider contacting the department about taking on interns or mentees, doing alumni panels or spotlights, or volunteering opportunities. Your support is greatly appreciated as we continue a long tradition of dynamic theatre making and training some of New Jersey’s finest artists.
