What You Learn

Accounting is often called the language of business. Our curriculum prepares you to maintain and analyze financial records to help individuals and businesses thrive.   

  • Study accounting practices for different business and corporate structures
  • Examine taxation, law and ethics
  • Develop analytical, computer and communication skills
  • Work side by side with world-class faculty who are experienced financial professionals
  • Garner valuable internships that lead to career opportunities after graduation

If you have an undergraduate business degree, complete 30 credits to earn your master’s degree in accounting, which can be finished in one year. If you are making a career shift, you need to complete six additional credits in business, including economics, to fulfill the degree requirements and be prepared to take the CPA exam and become a licensed accountant.
